Living in Reverie

Fantasies are only that,
And yet somehow so much more.
They revel in destroying that
For which I have endevored for.
But one can't deny what they dream
Or how they feel within.

Living in revery; a phantom existance,
Your world of imagination.
Living in revery, denying reality.
My hopes an fears in combination.
Living in revery; denying reality
Awaken to your dreams.

You fall from forgotten grace
Inflicting wounds that won't mend.
Waking the night reveals the face
Of one your scandle has sinned.
But you cannot decide your dreams
Or what you sense therein.

Living in revery; a phantom existance,
Your world of imagination.
Living in revery, denying reality.
My hopes an fears in combination.
Living in revery; denying reality
Awaken to your dreams.

I can't love you
When you pine for something more.
There's nothing I can do
Until you come back to this world.

Living in revery; a phantom existance,
Your world of imagination.
Living in revery, denying reality.
My hopes an fears in combination.
Living in revery; denying reality
Awaken to your dreams.

One cannot deny their dreams
Or what they see therein.
No all things are as they seem;
What fantasy matters in the end?
So awaken, love, to me;
I am your reality.
